Email address checks run by Skyfynd
This domain and the server verify.skyfyndverify.com (2.29.116.108) belong to
Skyfynd, a studio that builds websites for small businesses.
Before Skyfynd writes to a business, it checks that the address the business published
(on its own website or in a public business registry) still accepts mail, so that it never
writes to an address that would bounce.
The server connects to the domain's mail server, introduces itself as
verify.skyfyndverify.com, gives [email protected] as the sender,
asks whether the one address exists, and disconnects. It never sends a message: the
conversation always ends before any mail would be delivered.
Checks are few and slow on purpose: under 500 a day, one connection at a time per mail provider, at most a handful of addresses per connection, and long pauses after any temporary error or refusal. Only addresses a business published itself are checked, never guessed or bought lists.
